For My Semester 3 Project In The Bachelor Of Arts In Architectural Design Program, I Designed A Multi-Story Building In Male, Maldives. The Project Required Selecting A Plot Of At Least 1000 Square Feet Within A Designated Area In Male. The Design Had To Adhere To Specific Requirements: A Maximum Height Of 20 Meters, And Between Five And Six Floors. The Primary Focus Was To Create A Structure That Solves A Social, Or Cultural, Or An Environmental Issues Considering the Site Context.

“Kidscape Residences” Suggests A Living Space Designed With Children In Mind, Where Every Aspect Of The Environment Is Tailored To Their Needs And Interests. The Name Evokes Imagery Of A Vibrant And Dynamic Landscape Filled With Opportunities For Exploration, Play, And Imagination. The Aim Is To Create A Space That Prioritizes Safety While Fostering A Playful And Open Environment For Children. This Design Embraces Opportunities For Diverse Activities And Needs, Ensuring Children Feel Supported And Inspired To Discover, Play, And Grow. This Design Maximizes The Use Of Sunlight On All Floors, Improving The Overall Health Of The Residents. Overall, “Kidscape Residences” Communicates The Vision Of A Residential Complex Where Children Can Flourish, Surrounded By Stimulating And Engaging Environments That Support Their Growth And Development.

Every Child Desires To Play And Interact In Their Unique Way, So The Spaces Is Designed To All Forms Of Differences And Adaptability. These Spaces Will Ensure That Children Do Not Get Lost And Can Always Be Supervised By Their Parents. With Their Natural Curiosity And Love For Learning And Exploration, These Areas Will Provide Ample Free Space For Children To Run Around And Invent Their Own Games. Additionally, These Spaces Are Designed To Serve Both Meaningful And Educational Purposes.
